Covid-19 and Easter

Easter looks good on the other side of the world! Sunny in the midday, with a soft cool breeze. I reviewed the corona virus statistics this morning as I do every day, and possibly there are signs of hope for our friends back in the USA? I hope you feel that hopefulness. We have yet to have an overwhelming surge of patients in Kenya. I pray that God will have mercy on the poor! We shared a moment with our CHSC brothers and sisters around the world last night. We had a great Easter message from Tim Yoder which was so encouraging. And it was also encouraging to see people’s faces from so many different countries. We watched a Francis Chan video this morning (the man is intense!!!). We hid Easter eggs filled with raisins, gum, chocolate chips, 1 shilling coins (about a penny), and even one lucky child found an egg filled with lentils. In a few hours some friends will come over for an afternoon Easter tea. I hope the rain holds!

Francis Chan challenged that our lives should be different if we believe the resurrection. I think of so many of our friends, some who read this blog, and I am inspired by how your lives are different. And I know it is because of your faith in the resurrection. That encourages me to know and see!

Some pictures of our place during Easter time are below.
