What sort of person will personally wrap and arrange over 1000 gifts (by herself) for very poor, orphaned children in Peru, then come and deliver those gifts personally (working with Buckner Children’s Homes) trying to show these kids that they are not forgotten, hoping that in some way this act of kindness and generosity can demonstrate in the flesh the love of Christ.  It is the same sort of person who will in addition bring three extra suitcases of gifts for a not so poor missionary family because she believes in them and cares for them.  Deb Pullen for two years in a row has generously brought to us 70-100 lbs of christmas gifts, american products that we cannot find here, different hand creams, puzzles, hats, games, toys . . . you name it and she has brought it so that our little family can feel a little more comfortable when we are uncomfortably far from home.  You can be sure that our kids know who she is and are thankful for her as well.  Deb has been one of the people who has continually surprised us with her generosity and care for us.  We are humbled and sincerely touched by her kindness.  Thank you Deb Pullen!

Enjoying some Deb time in Cuzco! We discovered a new restaurant with some awesome Peruvian dancing, lots of alpaca meat, and we picked up a couple of very heavy suitcases. Christmas will be very fun this year!
